Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: parted
I have two LaCie external HD: one with USB2 and the other with Firewire 400.
These drives are being recognised by Places and by the Disk Utility. They are
NOT being recognised by the install utility GParted and the install fails and
produces a crash warning that can not be reported because Apport does nor
support reporting these crashes. After multiple testing, including a successful
one were I tried the install in a USB memory stick, I believe that this problem
is related to GParted. Will you please look into this problem.
Thank you very much.
Hernan
