Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gnome-shell

Installing gnome-shell creates a Clock entry in System->Preferences.
This is confusing for users, because these settings don't do anything to
the GNOME 2 interface.

I propose this menu entry hidden from the GNOME 2 menus (and from within
the Unity interface).

Alternatively the menu entry could be edited to have a title "GNOME
Shell Clock".
