Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: hal

When I plug in my old 1 GB iShuffle in the usb port, hal doesn't
recognize the volume /dev/sdb1 on it, but it does recognize the device
itself. The iShuffle isn't recognized in any user level program I've
tried (Nautilus, Disk Mounter panel object, Rhythmbox, Banshee). I can
however mount and unmount the volume manually using pmount/pumount. I've
tried to reset the unit with iTunes and also repartitioned and
reformatted it with FAT32 from both Linux and Windows.

** Affects: hal (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
