  Binary package hint: emacs23

  Hi,

since the update to Maverick Meerkat I got very strange characters in
emacs23 (see attachment). The characters are somehow shuffled into each
other. This happens if I fast move through a line. If I leave the line
or shortly switch to another window, all is fine again.

The problem depends on font settings. If I disable anti-aliasing the
problem disappears. The problem is restricted to emacs23. In emacs22 all
  works fine.

I also reported the problem here: http://www.ubuntu-
  forum.de/artikel/53950/emacs-23-falsche-zeichendarstellung-
  artefakte.html (in German).

  Christian.
