I can confirm this bug. While trying to delete empty contacts from
Evolution I get the following error:

Unauthorized
I ran the evolution-data-server binary from the command line. Launched
Evolution. Right-click on an empty contact entry and selected delete. This
resulted in the above error being printed to Terminal.
