It is from a real system originally installed from the netboot installer. Also, it does eventually manage to load it, but it takes quite a while. I don't really know why that is.
I'll try to get a look at the current lucid netboot images too, but that's slightly more tricky since I've run out of uninstalled blades in my bladecenter now.
