Binary package hint: libpam-runtime
pam_mkhomedir is often used on conjunction with libnss-ldap and other
scheme that uses network directory for user. To make use of
pam_mkhomedir, you would usually have to edit /etc/pam.d/common-session.
Integration with pam-auth-update would be much better. Attached is a
pam-config profile for pam_mkdir. It default to not enabling
pam_mkhomedir, as it is not required in the common case. Please
consider adding it to libpam-runtime.
