Yes that is precisely what happens. My Sony Vaio sees the usb key as
/dev/sda too; this therefore makes it a small logical bug in the
installer - that the boot loader should by default be installed to the
MBR of the drive the system is being installed onto. But maybe this is a
Kernel issue regarding how it sees the USB drive?
