Binary package hint: nautilus
It's impossible to create bookmarks to remote shares by dragging them
onto Places in Nautilus. That's because they are being treated the same
as local partitions. It makes creating bookmarks for them really hard as
user have to launch a cluttered "Connect to Network..." dialog and fill
it by hand.
