When I posted the bug report, I was assuming that my front audio panel
was of the HDA type, so assumed that it had jack sensing capability
(Which is not the case of panel type AC'97 Audio, which is the one I
have), could then say that the behavior is anomalous only because of my
error. At this point I do not have a front audio panel HDA type for
testing, then I mark the report as invalid.
