Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: ubiquity

I went to install ubuntu on my laptop and the install went fine up to
the point where you put in your user name and password, the "forward"
button was still graded-out. I called my programming teacher, who is an
ubuntu guru, and he told me that the problem was that I put a capital
letter in my user name. I changed it and it allowed me to move forward
with no issue. A few days later, he installed ubuntu on his computer
and used a capital letter in his user name. He told me about it told me
to post it on this site. I look forward to seeing what happens.
