Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: lxdm
After uninstalling LXDM, the default display manager is still set to
/usr/sbin/lxdm in the file /etc/X11/default-display-manager.
This results in the system hanging on boot after "checking battery
state" unless you boot into safe graphics mode (or fix it to
/usr/sbin/gdm or whatever display manager you use.)
** Affects: lxdm (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided
Status: New
