** Description changed: Hello I have a SOny Vaio wireless card Intel Pro 3945abg. My set-up is as follows Part 1 Windows 7 Part 2 Ubuntu 10.10 Part 3 NTFS for files I use in either OS In Windows my wireless speed is 20MB In Ubuntu my speed is 2mb (with 10.04 I had 10-12mb speed) from the same location I have tried to install NDISwrapper which reconizes my card but then the wireless card does not activate. (I have had to re-install 10.10 to get the wireless working again) Is there any fix that will not wipe out my wireless network card? And let me surf at a reaonable speed like before?
