Thanks for your patch, Robert. It looks great so I have applied it to
the Natty dev branch, rev 588.
I see that this is an issue in the Maverick release, do you know if this
is a problem in Lucid? My Lucid install contains both XSane and Simple
Scan, so I can't confirm if XSane is available by default in Lucid.
