By the way, I have tried the instructions supplied here:

and it failed at the step 11. Those modules were already loaded before I
started the process. So the error was as described above at #9

The step 12 also failed:

aplay -D btheadset -f s16_le /usr/share/sounds/k3b_error1.wav 
ALSA lib audio/pcm_bluetooth.c:1607:(audioservice_expect) BT_GET_CAPABILITIES 
failed : Input/output error(5)
aplay: main:654: audio open error: Input/output error

By the way, I believe those instructions are outdated, I should not be
creating the ~/.asoundrc  file for my bluetooth headset to work in
Maverick, or should I?
