Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: evince
When opening a directory that contains dvi files, the evince-thumbnailer uses
100% cpu
but never completes when it tries to thumbnail a dvi file. This also blocks any
further
thumbnailing of any other kind.
The dmesg log says:
[ 4782.417998] type=1400 audit(1290278467.228:600713): apparmor="DENIED"
operation="open" parent=25004 profile="/usr/bin/evince-thumbnailer"
name="/etc/texmf/" pid=25017 comm="evince-thumbnai" requested_mask="r"
denied_mask="r" fsuid=1000 ouid=0
repeated ad infinitum.
Perhaps metafont is not allowed to write/read the generated fonts?
