I've been working on trying to find the source of this issue for a few hours now and in the process had to get my head around how GTK and metacity themes fit together. I found the tiny change that needs to be made to allow you to click the close button from right in the corner in Julia's Mint-X and Mint-X-Metal themes, as well as Shiki-Colors- Metacity. I've attached a diff for both. I haven't used diffs before so I'm not sure if I've done it right but it should be fairly obvious.
I would assume that Isadora uses the same Shiki-Colors-Metacity theme as Julia, but if not the changes should be essentially the same. Obviously it results it a minor cosmetic difference because the buttons are flush with the top of the screen, but it's certainly more practical. ** Patch added: "Mint-X_metacity-theme-1.xml.diff" https://bugs.launchpad.net/linuxmint/+bug/578754/+attachment/1740118/+files/Mint-X_metacity-theme-1.xml.diff -- Top screen corners don't register mouse clicks; prevents closing maximised windows without placing cursor correctly over the button. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/578754 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
