Thanks for taking the time to look into this. 
There is actually no directory named backend-available, only one named
backend.
If I create one myself and create a file "ipp", I am getting the same
kind of error but this time with a file "lpd", and then, if I create the
"lpd", it's "parallel" that is missing, and so on. 
I didn't try to create all the missing files as I guess that since they
are empty, this will not work anyway.
I guess I need to find out how I am suppose to have the
backend-available and all it's files created. Any idea ?
