Binary package hint: kubuntu-desktop
When I installed networkmanager-kde, which also replace
plasma-widget-networkmanagement, it started working.
The problem is that by default I could not connect to any networks. WLANs,
connected ethernet cables and 3G modems were detected, but I just could not
connect.
