Also happening here, in my two (different) laptops, both using Ubuntu 10.10, NetworkManager 0.8.1. Tested on kernels 2.6.34, 2.6.35, and 2.6.36.
The wifi I am connecting to has low signal, because the router is a bit far. I don't know if this is related or not. It uses WEP encryption. In other encrypted networks I have connected this problem is not happening. Nonetheless, the connection keeps working perfectly in a netbook I have (Windows 7 Starter based). So, it is either driver or NetworkManager problem. Attached is the output of lspci, lsusb and hwinfo, in case it can be of help. ** Attachment added: "Output of lspci, lsusb and hwinfo" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/network-manager/+bug/490107/+attachment/1740524/+files/lspci_lsusb_hwinfo.zip -- Wifi Connection Lost - NetworkManager Wireless Network Authentication Bug https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/490107 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
