ok....the bug occurs every time when you have the compiz cube enabled...
open any extendible window.. like the ones you can make bigger....
now put half of the window onto the next right desktop screen....
grab the side of the window and extend it all the way to the left....do this
about to times... and then press Ctrl + Alt to look at the cube..... by now it
should have gone over two desktops.... keep relating the process of extending
the windows trying to make a full loop with the window around the Compiz
cube....
as soon as you are about to do a full loop.... the screen flashes and your
appearance settings were automatically set to none....
it happens to me every time.... i have ubuntu 10.10 maverick meerkat and
i have a Dell inspiron one (non-touch version) with a Intel Graphics
media accelerator X4500HD .... and a Intel Pentium Dual Core E5300 ....
