Thanks for reporting this bug and any supporting documentation. Since
this bug has enough information provided for a developer to begin work,
I'm going to mark it as confirmed and let them handle it from here.
I have attempted to upgrade daily using "sudo apt-get update" and "sudo
apt-get dist-upgrade" for about a week. This effectively blocks all
updates. Using update-manager also fails. Commenting out extras in
/etc/apt/sources.list shows 225 upgrades on this system.
