There are multiple suggestions/workarounds/solutions in this thread, and the Adobe developer who has discussed this issue makes it clear that the modification you keep advertising (which we're probably all using by now) doesn't work with Compiz: "Another important note: Compiz and GPU-accelerated Flash on Linux do not mix.
