Public bug reported:
Sound reproduction was erratic when using kernel 2.6.35-22. This was
fixed via the alsa modules updates.
Upgrading to the latest kernel, 2.6.35-23, this problem has resurfaced.
Currently there are no alsa module updates available for 2.6.35-23.
Switching back to kernel 2.6.35-22 until a solution is found.
It would be very nice to hear the drums and startup sound again. This
has not worked on my machine since upgrading to Maverick Meerkat.
