Public bug reported:
When I make a shared library with /usr/lib/atlas/liblapack.a of
libatlas-base-dev package, I recieved the following error message.
/usr/bin/ld: /usr/lib/atlas/liblapack.a(dpotrf.o): relocation R_X86_64_32
against `.rodata' can not be used when making a shared object; recompile with
-fPIC
/usr/lib/atlas/liblapack.a: could not read symbols: Bad value
Could you recompile liblapack.a and libblas.a with -fPIC option on 64bit
OS?
