One solution is to change the mod of /usr/bin/rfcomm. I.e $sudo chmod 6755 /usr/bin/rfcomm
This makes the rfcomm device a security risk, but it works as a work- around. // Erik -- Ubuntu 10.04 Can't open RFCOMM device: Permission denied https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/570692 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
