If possible can you also boot the latest kernel (2.6.20-13) with the quiet and
splash options removed from the Grub kernel boot line. This may indicate what
is going wrong. If anything interesting is shown, taking a digital photo of
the screen, and attaching it to this bug report will be useful. Thanks.
