Which CD are you using (desktop, alternate, server, ...)?  As far as I
know, all our installation images offer keyboard selection.  If your
problem is that you need to have the keyboard mapping set at
partitioning (by default the 10.10 desktop image asks for it later on),
then try this:

  * Press any key at the purple screen you get when booting the CD
  * Select a language
  * Press F3 to get a keyboard menu

       Status: New => Incomplete
