Public bug reported: Binary package hint: pulseaudio
Using Karmic Koala. Installing the Linuxant modem drivers, pulseaudio stops working. See bug report at https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/pulseaudio/+bug/669115 This bug was fixed, but now it's back. Apparently there is a fix. Could we possibly have it backported to Karmic? - CH ProblemType: Bug AplayDevices: **** List of PLAYBACK Hardware Devices **** card 0: Intel [HDA Intel], device 0: AD198x Analog [AD198x Analog] Subdevices: 1/1 Subdevice #0: subdevice #0 Architecture: i386 AudioDevicesInUse: USER PID ACCESS COMMAND /dev/snd/controlC1: andor 2708 F.... pulseaudio /dev/snd/controlC0: andor 2708 F.... pulseaudio Card0.Amixer.info: Card hw:0 'Intel'/'HDA Intel at 0xd8544000 irq 17' Mixer name : 'Analog Devices AD1981' Components : 'HDA:11d41981,103c30c1,00100200 HDA:14f12c06,103c1379,00100000' Controls : 11 Simple ctrls : 9 Card1.Amixer.info: Card hw:1 'U0x46d0x825'/'USB Device 0x46d:0x825 at usb-0000:00:1d.7-5, high speed' Mixer name : 'USB Mixer' Components : 'USB046d:0825' Controls : 2 Simple ctrls : 1 Card1.Amixer.values: Simple mixer control 'Mic',0 Capabilities: cvolume cvolume-joined cswitch cswitch-joined Capture channels: Mono Limits: Capture 0 - 6144 Mono: Capture 3277 [53%] [6.00dB] [on] Date: Fri Nov 26 10:03:10 2010 DistroRelease: Ubuntu 9.10 InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 9.10 "Karmic Koala" - Release i386 (20091028.5) NonfreeKernelModules: wl Package: pulseaudio 1:0.9.19-0ubuntu4.1 ProcEnviron: LANG=en_US.UTF-8 SHELL=/bin/bash ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 2.6.31-22.68-generic SourcePackage: pulseaudio Uname: Linux 2.6.31-22-generic i686 ** Affects: pulseaudio (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: apport-bug i386 -- Cannot install Linuxant Modem Driver with PulseAudio https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/681822 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
