Public bug reported: Binary package hint: ubuntuone-client
Ubuntu One Preferences reports storage size with a "KB" prefix. According to the actual size displayed, it should use the IEC base-2 prefix, "KiB". However, according to the Ubuntu Units Policy[1], it should use SI base-10 prefixed and compute the size accordingly. Bug 666826 is about the same behavior in Ubuntu One Servers.
