Hi Göran! Thanks for your bug report. I'm not that familiar with putty,
but it would seem that there are two packages in software center with
putty in the name. The first is the 'Putty ssh client' which corresponds
to the putty package, this is the package that you installed via the
command line. The second is 'Putty terminal emulator' corresponding to
the package 'pterm' which is what you installed via the software center.
Both packages are listed in software center and when searching for
'putty' the 'putty ssh client' is returned as the first search result
which is the package that you were expecting to find. There is not much
more that software center can do here, so I'll mark this bug as invalid
as it would seem to just come down to a confusion between two packages.
