Hi Paul! Thanks for the bug report. We are tracking the startup-speed
issue over at bug 677088. Just as a quick update: over the past week
we've managed to make some noticeable differences to the startup-speed,
very roughly speaking we are now about 30% faster than in maverick, with
more improvements coming.
