Hi Eugeni,
  I'd like to make sure I understand what you are saying - I think you are 
saying that 7.04, and 10.04.1 see all your disks but 9.10 does not see your 
scsi disk; is that a correct description?

  From the 9.10 live CD could you include:
     1) The output of dmesg just after boot
     2) The output of /sbin/lspci -vn
     3) The output of cat /proc/partitions
     4) The output of cat /proc/scsi/scsi

Please provide the same output for 10.04.1

Can you also describe what your SCSI controller is and how are the disks
arranged - are they all on one scsi chain off one SCSI controller?
