Public bug reported: I have to turn my wifi on manually each restart. I'm using Kubuntu Feisty with ndiswrapper. I have a Broadcom 4310 chip. I've uninstalled network-manager because it couldn't connect to my wifi. I don't use bcm43xx because it disconnects frequently. My laptop is HP Compaq nx6325. [EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ uname -a Linux laptop666 2.6.20-14-generic #2 SMP Mon Apr 2 20:37:49 UTC 2007 i686 GNU/Linux [EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ ndiswrapper -v utils Error: no version specified! driver version: 1.38 vermagic: 2.6.20-14-generic SMP mod_unload 586
I don't know if it is a bug of KDE, ndiswrapper, ifup, or the kernel. ** Affects: Ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: Unconfirmed -- Wifi is turned off after each restart of Kubuntu using ndiswrapper https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/103693 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
