Hi Fabio, I downloaded the header and completed the installation. This didn't completely fix the bug, but it did change the behavior of the shutdown/reboot process of my computer.
Whenever rebooting or shutting down, my computer passes the purple screen and freezes on a blank screen. However, I still have to manually force my computer to shut off and boot back up to complete the process. Please let me know what other details you need from me.
