Binary package hint: linux-image-2.6.20-14-generic
On linux-image-2.6.20-14-generic whenever I try to change the volume on my
Intel HDA (AD1986A codec) all sound disappears, even if it is at maximum volume
and I just change it one step. After that I have to reboot to get sound back as
it isn't possible to unload the module. linux-image-2.6.20-12-generic had the
same problem but it was fixed in linux-image-2.6.20-13-generic and now it's
back again.
This is on a Packard Bell EasyNote laptop.
