As of today, this issue still continues regarding hibernate. I have thus
far managed to get suspend to work via using s2ram as detailed at
http://jasonkotenko.com/posts/toshiba-laptop-suspend-lucid/ as linked to
from http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1481371. I will try using
the s2disk stuff later on after more research, but I wanted to report
here that this bug with hibernate continues to fail. It fails as a
result of being unable to find headers or something like that. I have
since my last post here, been able to create a swap partition, but I
prefer to use the swap file that I created within the active partition
instead.

Please let me know anything you'd like me to provide to help work this
issue out.
