Let's try to clear up a little:

Hey, that's me :-)

But it seems like you have installed a DKMS package from me as well. First 
uninstall it (its name should start with alsa-hda-... ). Then make sure you 
have the very latest 
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Audio/InstallingLinuxAlsaDriverModules installed - they 
are updated daily and there were some changes during the previous week. 
Then reboot and try again. Thanks!
