@Daniel, I think the easiest workaround is to mark the pin as a speaker pin via user_pin_configs, although I'm not sure this wouldn't have undesirable side effects. Adding configurability via sysfs seems like a lot of work to me, at least if you're aiming for more than the auto parsers.
