I agree this is a severe bug, should affect quite a few. Trying to minimize the bug and learning to live with it in different ways:
I'm mounting with this command: sshfs [email protected]:/users/username /mount/dir -o idmap=user -o allow_other -o reconnect The -reconnect part is important, as it minimizes lockups, and instead a popus asks for password again, to reconnect.
