Public bug reported:
when unmounting a usb drive (e.g. pen drive) a message appears to warn
the user that data is being written to the drive & so not to remove it.
this message then changes to one stating that it is now safe to remove
the drive. both of these messages are partially obscured by being
partially out of the screen on the bottom right hand corner. not a major
problem, only cosmetic.
