Thanks for the clarification, which seems to imply there is a scheduling and/or hardware issue at the root of things. The fact that completely different hardware as your other source & sink coupling seems to work fine corroborates that observation. At this point I'm unsure whether we can really chalk this up to an audio stack issue. Have you investigated whether there are firmware updates or pci latency tunings that can be applied?
