Public bug reported:

[feisty] Installation crashes.

When trying to install 7.04 beta AMD64 version the installation halts
after nearly nearly complete (95.7%) while displaying the message:
"Detecting hardware.....please wait Loading module 'aec62xx' for 'IDE
chipset support'. After waiting about an hour I finally had to reset
the system.

The system I'm trying to load this on is an ECS Elitegroup motherboard
with the nForce4-4X chipset, an AMD64-2x cpu, 1 GB of memory, and a SATA
hard drive. I've had Windows XP running on this system previously.

In addition, I am still seeing and IO-apic error message at the start of
loading the live CD but it doesn't give the Kernel panic that 6.10
install gave on this same system.

** Affects: Ubuntu
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: Unconfirmed
