Binary package hint: system-config-printer
I find that frequently print jobs that I submit to my network printer
are still listed as processing in the status window long after the print
job has actually finished. If left untouched, the entries will remain
in the status window apparently indefinitely. However, manually
refreshing the status window results in a proper update of each of their
statuses, frequently resulting in their removal from the status window
as they had in fact finished processing long ago.
