Sirhc - I think this is a platform specific issue since your device is
not showing up, but is still supported by the cciss driver. There were
some changes around the time 2.6.35 was released regarding how the PCI
subsystem enabled PCI bridges. IIRC nVidia platforms exposed some issues
therein. There are several things you can try,

1) Enable Maverick -proposed and boot the latest kernel with stable updates 
(2.6.35-23.41)
2) Try the latest Maverick pre-proposed kernel at 
https://launchpad.net/~kernel-ppa/+archive/pre-proposed (2.6.35-24.41)
3) Try the Natty kernel from https://launchpad.net/~kernel-ppa/+archive/ppa 
(2.6.37-7.18)
