Sirhc - I think this is a platform specific issue since your device is not showing up, but is still supported by the cciss driver. There were some changes around the time 2.6.35 was released regarding how the PCI subsystem enabled PCI bridges. IIRC nVidia platforms exposed some issues therein. There are several things you can try,
1) Enable Maverick -proposed and boot the latest kernel with stable updates (2.6.35-23.41) 2) Try the latest Maverick pre-proposed kernel at https://launchpad.net/~kernel-ppa/+archive/pre-proposed (2.6.35-24.41) 3) Try the Natty kernel from https://launchpad.net/~kernel-ppa/+archive/ppa (2.6.37-7.18) -- Kernel 2.6.35-22-server don't load driver for Smart Array 642 Controller https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/680396 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
