Public bug reported: Binary package hint: simple-scan
Using the same scanner on different platforms. Scanned on Ubuntu 10.10: http://i187.photobucket.com/albums/x312/kerina_yin/ScannedDocument-1.jpg http://i187.photobucket.com/albums/x312/kerina_yin/ScannedDocument3.jpg Scanned on Windows 7: http://i187.photobucket.com/albums/x312/kerina_yin/Scan10003.jpg Notice 3 thin black vertical lines on the image scanned on Ubuntu 10.10, then compare to the image scanned on Windows 7. There's noting wrong with the scanner in the first place, i.e., dust, etc. Device drivers support Windows 7 but does not support Linux.
