Hmm, the standard suggestions would be to try removing
~/.asoundrc.asoundconf and/or upgrading alsa:

far from sure that would help in this case.

I'm not a consolekit expert but you have these in your log:

D: module-udev-detect.c: /dev/snd/controlC0 is accessible: no
D: module-udev-detect.c: /dev/snd/controlC0 is accessible: no
D: module-udev-detect.c: /dev/snd/controlC0 is accessible: no

If these occur when you're trying to play sound, stuff points towards
ConsoleKit not assigning sound device permissions to the currently
logged in user.
