I'm not really sure what you mean by folding here. In step 3 what
exactly happens? For me (on unity 3.2.0) clicking the file manager icon
while the two nautilus windows are exposed side by side has no effect.
Are you using the older version of Unity? It may be that the behaviour
changed.

- 1. Open for example to instances of Nautilus.
+ 1. Open for example two instances of Nautilus.
  2. Display them side by side using 2 clicks on the nautilus icon
  3. Fold them by clicking again on the nautilus icon
  
  The right window will be maximized, but in the transition you see the
  left window being maximized and then the right window is being overlaid.
  This causes some flackering and is not very nice.
