Hi! I’ve updated recently to Natty to get a chance to look at how things
will work. I don’t want to play with Unity yet (it doesn’t seem to work
at all right now), but I can’t remove because ubuntu-desktop depends on
it.
I think for now it should be marked as “recommends” rather than
“depends”. This way it will get installed for most people, but those who
choose to can remove it and play with the rest of the distribution. When
we’re getting closer to the release date and Unity becomes more stable
it could perhaps be turned back to a “depends”.
