Firstly, the `alsa` package name doesn't actually refer to Ubuntu's
sound infrastructure, which is composed of many packages (linux-image*,
libasound2, alsa-utils, libasound2-plugins, *pulse*, etc.).  Secondly,
are you actually experiencing problems with audible sound?
